Pickets opened in the spring of 1993 in a small storefront in Fairfield, Connecticut. Today, as then, it specializes in garden antiques and unusual decorative accessories. The inventory of the shop changes with the seasons, but consistent is a variety of antique and vintage urns, planters and finials, both American and European. Complimenting the garden pieces are mirrors (old and new), lamps, chandeliers, and Gustavian Swedish furniture. Plants and topiaries, both live and artificial enhance the setting.
